About Me

My photo
Kari Frisch
Hello, Bonjour, Hola, HallÄ, and Namaste. Typical start to a bio: I am a Communication Instructor and the eLearning Coordinator at Central Lakes College (CLC) in Brainerd, Minnesota. Thanks for finding me online. What you're probably more interested in learning about me: I am a little nerdy, a little creative, and just adventurous enough to live life to the fullest. My love of traveling keeps me looking for relevant personal and professional opportunities, which often blue together. Digital technologies, like this blog, allow me to combine many of these joint interests and share them in ways that benefit both me, my students, and now maybe you. Several years ago, I coined the term "One Degree of Teaching and Learning" which now really frames how I look at life and how I approach education (mine and others'). I hope you'll find your own close connections, maybe even to the first degree, to what I share here. Thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about me. Happy teaching and learning! PS Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about my professional keynote/presentation experience.
